Help

The IARD system incorporates a robust HELP option available for users who have questions or require additional guidance. It is accessed by simply clicking on the "?" in the right-hand corner of each screen that the user will see when completing a Form ADV and/or Form ADV-W. For every page, the user will find context-related help, unique for the page, including:

• The specific instructions from the Form ADV for that page.

Also, from the Help screens, users can navigate to:

• Glossary of Terms (with an alphabetical selection menu)

• Table of Contents (which delineates each form type [Form ADV and Form ADV-W] and the sections and sub-sections within each form)

• Completeness Check Information (specific to the page) -This edit checks the data entered on the filing with what is mandatory in the IARD system for the system to accept the submission.

In an upcoming release, staff assistance issued by the SEC and applicable to that page, will also be available in Help.
